Walk MS Event Details
The Rhode Island Walk MS 2009, our 20th Anniversary Walk, will take place on Sunday, April 19, 2009 at 3 locations through out the state.
Web registration is now CLOSED. Registrations will be accepted the day of the events!
Registration for the Walk starts at 7:30AM, for the 5K Run at 7AM, and for the MS 25 at 8AM.
Which site will you be walking at?
Bristol: Start from Mount Hope High School and walk through historic Bristol and take in the stunning water views through Colt State Park. (6.2 miles)
Narragansett: Start from Narragansett Pier School and stroll along the scenic sea wall while taking in the ocean-fresh air. (6.2 and 3 mile options)
Providence: Start from the RI Convention Center and walk through historic downtown Providence! (3 miles)

MS 25 Quick Ride/Training Ride Event Details
The MS 25 Quick ride will again be held along side Walk MS on Sunday, April 19, 2009 in Narragansett. We'll be marking a sweet route along with Narragansett coast with the start/finish at Narragansett Peir School. You'll share the pre-ride and post-ride festivities with our MS Walkers. This is a fabulous chance to gather your team members and ride together before the 150. All the normal offerings will be present... rest stops, SAG support, bike shops, etc. There is a flat fee of $50 to register. As an added incentive, any MS 150 rider that registers for the MS 25 Quick Ride will get that $50 fee added to his/her prize total. Get more prizes for more miles of hard road... what could be sweeter?
Run MS: 5K Rhode Race Event Details
Our first ever 5K Rhode Race will be held along side Walk MS on Sunday, April 19, 2009 in Bristol at Colt State Park. Runners will check in at Mount Hope High School to receive their number and event t-shirt and will then be bussed to the start location in the park. Registration is $18 until April 3, 3009, $20 April 3-16 and $25 day of the run. Registration starts at 7AM and the run will start at 8:30AM. |
