Believe That You Can Help
Walk MS is the signature fundraising event of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. By participating in Walk MS you can know that you’ve shared a remarkable achievement with over 250,000 other walkers in more than 700 cities across the country. But most importantly, you’ll be making a difference by raising essential funds for research and services for people with MS. The 21st Annual Walk MS will take place in Rhode Island on April 18, 2010. Rhode Island Chapter Walk Locations:
Bristol: Start from Mount Hope High School and walk through historic Bristol and take in the stunning water views through Colt State Park. (6.2 miles)
Narragansett: Start from Narragansett Pier School and stroll along the scenic sea wall while taking in the ocean-fresh air. (6.2 and 3 mile options)
Providence: Start from the Rhode Island Convention Center and walk through historic downtown Providence. (3 miles)
For those of you who wish to support the cause in other ways we have a variety of Volunteer opportunities at all of the Walk sites. Please register as an Event Volunteer by clicking the link below. You may also want to visit the Volunteer Page for more information.
Registration opens at 7:30 and the Walk begins at 9AM at all 3 Walk sites.
Run MS: 5K Rhode Race:
Lace up your running sneakers and join us for our second annual Run MS 5K Rhode Race on April 18, 2010 alongside our Walk MS in Bristol. Runners will enjoy a beautiful and scenic 3.1 mile certified course in Colt State Park.
Check in at Mout Hope High School for your number and event t-shirt and we'll bus you to the start location in the park. Runners will compete to win trophies and medals within their age category. Register NOW!

Join the MS 25 Quick Ride - April 18, 2010
We are again holding the MS 25 Quick Ride along with our MS Walk in Narragansett on April 18, 2010. There is a flat fee of $50 and if you are also a MS 150 rider we will add that money and any other pledges into your MS 150 PRIZE total! Bring the whole family and gear up for the MS 150!
